Ways To Support Us

There are lots of ways to support the work of the company financially or otherwise. Whichever way you choose, it’s good for you to know that, as we currently have one tiny office, one full time member of staff, one on 4 days and one on 3 days per week- ie no massive overheads, your money or support will be going directly into the work we create.

You can make a one off donation at any time through VirginMoneyGiving Click here Link to this page.

If you shop online- whether it be a weekly grocery shop, ebaying or a one off purchase of a large item like clothing, a fridge, flower deliveries or even a holiday, you can make FREE money for Taking Flight by using the Give As You Live search engine. A percentage fo the total cost goes back to Taking Flight without costing you anything extra. Click here to sign up and get collecting for us! Link to GiveAsYouLive TF page

If you want to make regular donations, maybe our Friends Scheme is best for you.

Look out for our fundraising events for further chances to support us financially. We advertise these on our social media networks.

If you want to support us in a non financial manner, you could volunteer for us Link back to the volunteering page.

Perhaps you run a venue and would like to host a Taking Flight performance, symposium or could even host a fundraiser.

Maybe you’re a member of a community group that could book and promote a Taking Flight performance through The Arts Council of Wales’ Night Out/Noson Allan scheme Link to Night Out page.

You might even have some type of expertise or skill that you could share with Taking Flight- in the past people have helped us with things like providing vouchers for a shop or service, helping us with marketing, hosting events or rehearsals and printing materials for us free of charge.

Maybe you work for a corporate company that has a Charity of the Year? Or perhaps there are funding pots employees can apply for or in kind support they can offer? In this way, Taking Flight have benefitted from free meeting space at Companies House, money to pay for palantypists for a symposium from Admiral and 20 or so huge umbrellas for outdoor performances from Legal and General as well as reduced cost T Shirt and hoody printing from Visible Art.

If any of the above are true, contact us to discuss how you might be able to help!
