Scenes from a Suitcase

Posted by | Uncategorised | No Comments

We had great fun developing Taking Flight’s first festival theatre pieces which premiered in 2016 and are available to book for festivals and events.  2017 will see the creation of a new set of ‘scenes’ from the suitcases and some exciting  walk-about theatre is also on the horizon.   Enjoy.

You’ve got Dragons – Available to book Spring/Autumn 2017

Take a look at the trailer for Taking Flight’s new family piece. You’ve got Dragons based on the book by Kathryn Cave.
‘Dragons come when you least expect it. You turn round … and they’re there.’
Lots of people get them. Even really really good people get them. And sometimes they are hard to get rid of. So what can a young child with a bad case of the dragons do?

A delightful tale of one child’s journey to come to terms with their dragons, told in Taking Flight’s unique style. With toe-tapping music, this highly visual, sensitive production is a humorous and touching exploration of the ‘dragons’ we all face.

A fully accessible intergenerational show featuring creative captioning, BSL and audio description it is a treat for all the family … and remember ‘no dragon is more powerful than YOU’!
